Schools are a major draw: Weston's public schools are among the top-rated in Broward County, which is why so many families settle there. The city also has a strong healthcare anchor in Cleveland Clinic Florida's main campus.
Weston has a lot going for it. It's consistently ranked among Florida's safest cities, with some of the lowest crime rates in Broward County. The whole city is master-planned, so it's unusually green and manicured — tree-lined boulevards, miles of bike paths, and over 2,000 acres of parks and wetlands, including access to the Everglades right at its western edge.
Add in no state income tax, year-round warm weather, golf courses, and well-run city services with relatively low municipal taxes, and it's easy to see why it regularly lands on "best places to live" lists.
